What the desk enforces
The rules on the file
- Privacy Act 1988 (Australian Privacy Principles). A collection notice is recorded before a name is marketed. People can be found, corrected and removed from the book.
- Spam Act 2003. Commercial email and SMS stay off unless consent is on the file, and an opt-out is honoured on the letter desk.
- Do Not Call Register Act 2006. A listed number, or a do-not-call flag, blocks the call button.
- Property Occupations Act 2014 (Qld). Listing authority, method and commission sit on the property file.
- Agents Financial Administration Act 2014 (Qld). Trust movements are posted as a running ledger and are not edited in place.

Identity not sighted
Email is closed for 1 files. SMS is closed for 1. Letters and call buttons follow those flags. Identity sighted is the client-identification note on a vendor file, not an AUSTRAC program.
